Terms

Last updated 30 September 2026. These are the rules for using Fairshore.

What Fairshore is

Fairshore is a job board. Employers post remote jobs, and people in the Philippines apply to them. Employers hire people directly. Fairshore is not an employer, a recruitment agency or a staffing company: we don’t choose who gets hired, we don’t manage anyone’s work, and we can’t promise that anyone will get a job or find a worker.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and use your real name and details.
  • One person, one account per side. Don’t share your account or sign in as someone else.
  • Keep your password and your email account secure: anyone who has your password, or can read your email, can sign in as you.

If you are looking for work

  • Fairshore is free for you, always. Nobody may charge you to apply, to be hired, or to be trained for a job.
  • Never pay an employer anything, and never share bank or card details, passwords or one-time codes. If anyone asks, stop and report them.
  • Your profile, links and résumé must be your own work and true.
  • Apply only to jobs you would take, with honest answers. You can send up to 15 applications in any 7 days; the limit keeps every application worth an employer’s time.

If you are hiring

  • Every job must show its pay, at or above our minimum for that kind of work (from $5 an hour).
  • Jobs must be real, remote, and doable from the Philippines. No relocation, no work abroad, no overseas deployment.
  • Never ask applicants for money, deposits, equipment purchases, crypto, or their passwords or bank logins.
  • Don’t ask for age, gender, religion, civil status or other details that have nothing to do with the job. Philippine law does not allow age limits in hiring.
  • You pay the people you hire directly, in a way you both agree. You are responsible for your working relationship with them, including pay, contracts and taxes.
  • Answer every applicant. Applications you leave open close after 14 days, and the applicant is told.
  • Use applicants’ details only to hire for the job they applied to. Don’t add them to mailing lists, share them, or contact them about anything else.

What’s not allowed, for everyone

Scams, fake jobs or profiles, harassment, discrimination, spam, adult content, pyramid or “investment” schemes, and trying to move people off Fairshore to take fees from them. We may remove content and pause or close accounts that break these rules, and we tell you why.

Your content

You own what you post. You let Fairshore store it and show it as these terms and our Privacy notice describe, for example your profile to employers you apply to.

Messages and reports

  • Employers can message the people they shortlist, and both sides can reply while the application is open.
  • Be respectful and keep to the job. Employers may never ask for money, deposits or payment for training or equipment in messages; such messages aren’t delivered and our team is told.
  • Report anything that breaks these terms. Reports go to our team, who act on them; the person reported isn’t told who reported them. Don’t report people falsely or to harass them.

Money

Fairshore never holds or moves anyone’s wages, and talent will never be charged for anything. Posting jobs and hiring are free. Employers can pay for Fairshore Pro (US$39 a month, by invoice), which lets them feature some of their live jobs near the top of their kind of work, always labelled “Featured”. Paying never buys a verified badge, a faster review, or a way around the pay floor and these rules, and you can stop Pro at any time.

No guarantees

We work hard to keep Fairshore safe and running, but we provide it as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for what employers and talent agree between themselves, or for losses caused by other users.

Changes and leaving

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you before the change takes effect. You can stop using Fairshore at any time and ask us to delete your account. These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines.
